There is no solution of illegal immigration until the border is secured and illegal aliens stop crossing the border to get into our country. There is no solution to the illegal immigration until all Americans have a say in the solution.
Obama is not going to get away with some executive order that provides citizenship for illegals. He talks about illegals graduating college. More power to them. I hope they do well. But for every 1 illegal alien attending college you have at least 15 other illegal aliens making their living as part of coyote human smuggling and/or Drug Cartel smuggling and/or members of ultra-violent street gangs throughout the country. The illegal college graduates are a tiny percentage of total illegal immigrants. The larger percentages are involved in violent crime, kidnappings, smuggling and distributing drugs, drug possession, human smuggling, DUI/DWI, murders, assaults, sexual assaults, rape, robberies, burglaries, home invasions, and just plain everyday gang violence.
Perhaps before any decision is made about illegal aliens it might be prudent to understand their involvement in crime and gangs in American. The statistics are staggering. The easiest place for an illegal alien to go is a latino gang. They don't stand out and they don't even need to speak English.
Get the real statistics for numbers of illegal immigrants now in America. I hear estimates from 12 to 20 Million. That's a pretty big range. Out of that range you need to classify who should be eligible for eventual citizenship and who does not qualify. Those that don't qualify will be deported and with a sealed border they should not be able to get back in the country. Those that qualify for eventual citizenship must register with the government on a special "illegal work" visa. Once all illegal immigrants have been evaluated then some can be placed on the citizenship waiting lists like every other legal. We don't reward people for breaking our laws. Once the mass registration has occurred, anyone not registered can and will be deported immediately.
Get the nationwide statistics for all latino gangs including Latin Kings and MS-13. They recruit illegal aliens because the government doesn't even know who they are or where they came from. As far as the government knows they don't exist. That's a pretty good cover for criminal activity.
Illegal immigrants in street gangs, and illegal immigrants in general are filling our hospitals, 5 hospitals in California have closed because of bankruptcy. Prisons are filled with illegals and street gangs. Illegals immigrants are becoming the key distribution points for the Mexican Drug Cartels.
How much violence will be here in the U.S. in the next 20 years? Look at the violence in Mexico today. Kidnappings have already started capturing "wealthy" American tourists at tourist vacation meccas. The violence is slowly moving north with the growth of the illegal immigrant community. The Mexican town of Ciudad Juarez is now the most dangerous town in the world.
In Ciudad Juarez being on the police force is a death sentence, mass graves of headless armless legless torso's dot the country side, there is constant gun fire, and the Mexican Cartels and the Mexican Army are at war. The Mexican Army just like the Mexican police are corrupt, so no one can trust anyone. The combatants use murder, torture, revenge killings of entire families, mass executions, and specific targeted executions. You really need a scorecard to know who is who, as you have Mexican Police, Mexican Army, multiple Mexican Drug Cartels fighting each other, and freelancing mercenaries that work for whoever pays the most.
There was one incident near Ciudad Juarez where 3 black SUV's pulled up to a wedding party of about 200 guests in progress outside. Out of the SUV's came killers heavily armed. They just started firing at the wedding. Killing innocent men, women, and children. When they thought everybody was dead they got back in their SUV's and left. Why this happened or who ordered it is still unknown. But they were given the orders to kill everyone!
