David Evans confirms the reasons and issues that have greatly influenced many associated with global warming alarmism. Fame, fortune, and celebrity as a science pop star all seduced intelligent and educated college graduates to join the global warming gravy train.
The results came from a tweak here, a fudge factor there, change a few numbers here, and "whoop there it is...global warming!". We are now rich and famous with a blossoming career.
It's normal human greed that has allowed the global warming fantasy to still survive. Even though sufficient evidence has been produced that questions the data, the methods, the accuracy, and the ethics of the scientists involved. Many still believe that global warming is true.
It's normal human embarrassment that makes scientists unwilling to admit there mistakes, and how they got sucked into the quickly accelerating global warming climate change cult.
From my own investigations at various sources I estimate the following:
- Stable Temps: 1948 - 1978: temperatures were stable. Surprising since during this time there was the most increase in industry that could impact global temperatures.
- Increase Temps: 1978-1998: increases in temperatures have been observed but the average increase is less then a degree F
- Decrease Temps: 1998 - 2011: average temperatures seem to be decreasing. Once again by less than a degree F. The decrease makes sense because the winters have been longer and more severe than previous decades
