IMF bombshell: Age of America nears end, China’s economy will surpass the U.S. in 2016

The IMF, like many international organizations, are grinning with glee that America will no longer be the number one economy. The international, and especially European, jealousy of the U.S. makes all their anti-American actions and statements proof positive that our allies are only our allies when they need us or want something. Soon as they feel safe in their beds, their juvenile jealousy of America takes center stage. For some reason America's critics think they can expect that when China surpasses size of U.S. economy suddenly it's "midnight for Cinderella" and the U.S. will just disappear in a puff of smoke.

Do they think magically the repressive government of China will assume the moral, military, social, religious, and technology leadership roles in the world?

I am one of the people that believe that U.S. leadership was earned by more than the size of it's economy. America worked to be a moral and human rights leader in the world. Many nations around the world owe their very existence to America. Without America, their invaders would still have control of their country.

I also believe that it might be a great blessing in disguise if America now takes a step back from world politics and political struggles, and concentrates on improving it's domestic situations and conditions. Let others, you know those arrogant European nations, deal with China and the global issues facing the nations of the world. Right now American will give foreign aid and comfort to itself. America will emerge stronger than ever from a domestic cleanup phase.

America should force the U.N. to be moved somewhere else, China?, and stop all foreign aid during our domestic cleanup process. Let other nations give foreign aid for a while. For decades America has been giving too much to too many.

America has a more important cause than being the default global police. America's domestic situations will be America's "raison d'etre" (reason to be) for the next 1 or 2 decades. America is going to restore it's own institutions to the level of competence, ethics, and efficiency they should be. A little isolationism and wound healing is always good for the soul!
