Government creates dependence on the government by hiring for jobs that are being offered just to create jobs. Private enterprise creates real profitable jobs as needed by business. Government workers are taking siesta's while looking for work to do. Add in the fact of public unions, can't be fired, and great benefits, and the government's loss per job is astounding, and scary.
