Kudos to Chris Christie for his strength and perseverance in making the tough decisions and following through making those tough decisions a reality. It is no longer business as usual where politicians ignore public union collective bargaining, public union excessive benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. All these are problems that need to be fixed now and many fixes will be painful in the short-term, but the long-term benefits far outweigh the short-term difficulties. As Americans we have an obligation to make sure future generations are not burdened by our mismanagement and foolishness.
