This is perhaps the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard. Plants, trees, rocks, and rivers can sue people for being misused.? Naturally this is a Van Jones supported idea for making green jobs. Plants can hire lawyers, and grassy fields can hire security guards? Just considering this proposal is an act of irrational delusion. Supporting this proposal and lobbying for it's implementation is an act of "madness". Amazingly the supporters of this proposal do not see the insanity. To them its a viable progression of human rights to now include the physical components of nature.
If I own property with trees and plants does that mean I support slavery?
If I cut my grass is that now genocide?
If I chop down a tree on my land is that murder?
If I throw a rock into the river am I guilty of murder by drowning the rock?
