Not sure if I agree with GOP about the importance of the fight. To me, public funding of any organization requires non-partisan and non-public funding for abortions. The government should not be paying for people to kill their babies. These are some of the basic examples of misuse of government role and authority. Letting this funding continue sends the message that these organizations are qualified for public funding. They are not. Other organizations will claim public funding because these 2 organizations
are "qualified".
