This is typical from the tantrum prone public worker unions in Muchigan. Their worker compensation is more important than the services provided to the citizens, or the need for government. As a public union worker would say: " I'm gonna stomp my feed, scream about my unsatisfactory compensation, name call, get violent, greedy, selfish, and shut down the country until everyone admits we deserve the respect of all non-public worker Americans. There's no way you get respect by acting like union goons, greedy, selfish, thugs. I think what is most amazing to me is that these union workers have the best salaries, best retirement benefits, and best health coverage, and they are still complaining to people who make less than them with worse retirement and worse health care benefits.
Striking public union workers should be terminated if they refuse to do the job they are paid for. A strike means they are breaking their current union contract. It is illegal for public union workers to strike. You break the contract "see ya'!". There are thousands of qualified workers drooling over getting those jobs.
