NPR Complainers: Defunding $4 Million Doesn't Really Save Much

Yes it does. Its a start. It saves $4 million of taxpayers money. That's $4 million every year. To balance your budget, just like at home, you start with the least significant, easiest, least impacting, and defund them, and then slowly build to the most significant and difficult budget cuts. Every $4 million saved eventually adds up to a lot of money.
