As amazing as it sounds Jamie Gorelick, who created the wall between intelligence/security organizations that might have allowed 9/11 to occur, who was vice chairman of Fannie Mae when borrowing restrictions were lifted allowing the sudden increase in sub-prime loans, which in turn led to the financial meltdown of banks, investment forms, and housing market, is now being considered for the post of Director of the FBI.
Everywhere she goes, disasters of epic proportions soon follow. She is almost single handedly destroying America's federal government one department at a time. Now Obama is considering her for the highly important post of Director of the FBI. Can anybody tell me why she is even being considered given her track record of failure and mismanagement? What has she done to deserve the highest position in federal law enforcement?
She was known for her 1995 memo, written when she was deputy attorney general, that later became known as “Gorelick’s Wall,” a policy prescription limiting the flow of information between intelligence gatherers and criminal investigators that some believe helped allow the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center to go unchallenged.
Gorelick served as vice chairman of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) when the government-sponsored enterprise began bundling subprime loans into securitized financial instruments.
But it doesn't stop there. She managed to be on the wrong side of the Duke LaCrosse case, working for Duke University to protect that school from it's damaging knee jerk reactions to the spectacularly unbelievable charges filed by a stripper.
These days she is a defense layer for British Petroleum (BP) aiding those who destroyed the southern United States coastline, fishing industries, and tourism business.
